Coaching Packages

Coaching Package Information & Inclusions

Ongoing Coaching Packages

I work with all my clients over a minimum of four months. This means we can really do some great work together towards your goals and have enough time to do it. I work with you roughly every three weeks. But there is alway flexibility for life. The below timeframes are a rough guide. Remember you don’t have to choose a business, career, leadership or life/personal coaching. It can all be part of our time together. See the FAQs at the bottom of the page for more details.

Next Steps

1. Book a discovery call

You book in for a free 60-minute discovery call to chat about your needs and see if we’re a good fit. We’ll also do a bit of live coaching so you can experience what it’s like to work with me first hand. You can try before you buy.

2. Choose your coaching package

I’ll send you a proposal with different coaching packages. You choose from three options: 4 months, 6 months or 12 months, complete your coaching contract and let me know when you want to get started.

3. Book your first session & pay

I set you up in my system and you’ll receive a link to book in your first “official” session. You’ll then be sent your first invoice which will be due just before you begin.

4. Coaching session one

This is a biggy. 1.5 hours so we can set up our coaching relationships/ways of working togerhr and get clear on your goals/focus areas for our time working together.

5. We get into our coaching groove

What happens next depends entirely on what we have planned together and what comes up in the coaching experience for you. We have sessions about every 3 weeks via Zoom. I support you between sessions via Whatapp (or other app).

  • Our first session is a bit different. We begin with setting up our ways of working together, talking about what you need from me as your coach and setting some key goals or focus areas for our time together.

Then, each following session is different. I begin each session by asking ‘what do you want to work on today’ and we consider the outcome you’re hoping for from that particular session. You are in the driver’s seat.

You then share where you’re at with your session focus. I ask you lots of questions,I help you explore and unpack things, gain clarity, generate ideas and options for moving forward, make plans, build strategies or whatever else is needed. You do more talking than I do.

Importantly, you’ll also set actions for yourself. Things you’ll work on between now and next session. That’s a very important part of the coaching process. We may talk about what could get in your way and think of some strategies to plan for snags.

Finally, I might ask you to reflect on key Ah-Ha moments from the session and get your commitment on what you’re working on.

It’s an open, flowing process, with a loose structure. To boil it down:

    TOPIC > OUTCOME > QUESTIONS/EXPLORATION/IDEATION/PLANNING/ETC > ACTIONS > REFLECTION & COMMITMENT

One important thing to note is you don’t always HAVE to work on one of your goals or focus areas. And they can also change. I show up for you with what you need in the moment.

  • You can contact me any time via Whatsapp/Voxer/Signal. Text or voice message is fine. But I will most often respond with a voice message. It’s there whenever you need it, but it’s up to you to use it. I won’t be prompting. But please use it, it’s part of your package. Those who do use it often get much more out of their time.

I will respond when I can, usually within 24 hours Tuesday-Friday (often much faster). But I might respond outside these times if I’ve got a spare moment. It’s a pretty flexible arrangement. I say it’s ‘reasonable unlimited use’ which means use it as much as you like within reason. But if you’re messaging me all day every day, we might need to have a chat.

You can use this for anything relevant to your coaching (which is basically anything): bounce an idea, share a challenge, get some feedback, get a pep talk, unpack your thinking, celebrate a win, get some coaching questions to move you forward etc.

  • Absolutely! This is key to my strengths and philosophy as a coach.

In setting up your coaching in our first session, you can set goals or focus areas that are work/business/leadership related, personal or a combo of both. Then each session you choose what to work on. (It can be outside of your goals too if you want).

  • To put it very simply, coaching mode for me is more about asking you the right questions and drawing answers out of you. Strategist mode, you get more of my creative/strategic brain working on stuff for you. It’s more ideas and knowledge from my skills and experience.

If in a particular session you need more ‘strategist’ than ‘coach’ you can let me know and I can jump into that mode. This can be great for certain business and leadership related areas. I will usually lean on coaching before strategy as a general rule though, as I’m a coach first. But you’ll begin to notice as we work together, often a bit of both is happening. Something I believe is very important is knowing which one I should be using at any given moment. This means I’m never telling you what to do when you should be finding answers yourself, but I’m also not leaving you hanging when I’ve got something that will genuinely help and you may not ever come to on your own.

One of my strengths is also helping you think and act more strategically THROUGH coaching. I know that right questions to ask to get your strategic mind going, ever if you don’t believe it’s a strength.

  • No, but… You can check in with me. I don’t believe in building your dependence on me as a coach, but actually building your reliance on yourself. That’s why I flip the model. If you want accountability? Then you are responsible for being accountable to me. Not me accountable to you.

What that looks like in practice? Rather than me checking in with you every Friday for example, it’s your job to check in with me every Friday. Or if you want to be accountable for a particular task, I don’t message you and say ‘hey did you do the task?’ When you do the task, you message me.

  • Yes, I have two coaching qualifications.

I am a certified Human Potential Coach with The Human Potential Institute (now Human Potential Academy) and a Certified coach with the Beautiful You Coaching Academy. Human potential institute is an accredited ICF provider and their course at the time I completed it was and ITCFS course.

I do not have my ICF accreditation yet, but am in the process of completing the rigorous requirements for PCC ICF accreditation. This includes over 500 hours of documented coaching experience, XX of coaching training hours and over 10 hours of coach mentoring.

I adhere to the ICF code of ethics.

Yes, I have a university level business qualification: A Bachelor of Business Entrepreneurship. (Yes, that’s an actual degree).

  • No. True coaching is not based on content. This is training. Other than coaching to a basic coaching structure/model (as explained in What does a coaching session with you look like?), the ‘content’ is up to you.

In some cases, I do have some ways of questioning that might help with certain areas. For example, I have a way to help you draw out your values. But I don’t come in with an agenda of things I want you to go through, what’s important to me is what YOU want to explore.

Of course, if you feel a bit stuck and need suggestions, I can always help with this if you need.

Coaching FAQs

Logistical FAQs

  • Two reasons:

    1) In my experience, I’ve found for busy professionals and business owners the traditional 2 weekly coaching many coaches offer, doesn’t give you enough time to DO THE WORK between sessions, which is a KEY part of the coaching process. And generally monthly coaching I’ve found isn’t great for continuity and making progress. (Although it can be good for more of a maintenance mode).

    2) I work a schedule of two weeks on, one week off with clients. That means, every third week I don’t see clients. This gives me time and space to work ON my business and creative projects. Because this is how I work best. I’ve designed my work-life and working rhythms to suit me, which is what I encourage and support all my clients to do too.

If you want something different, I’m happy to be a bit flexible, but please let me know when you book in for your discovery call.

  • We meet via Zoom. I generally don’t offer in person sessions, but I make the odd exception. I do love to meet clients in person at some point if it’s possible. So please ask if this is something you’d like to do at some point. I generally ask that you come to me though, as my coaching days are pretty full and don’t allow for travel time.

  • We meet every three weeks. Part of the coaching process is doing the work. So giveing you time between sessions is important for this. In my experience, three weeks gives you enough (but not too much) time to get into action and move things forward. With time for life’s little bumps along the way.

Sessions will be held at different times to give people with different commitments and schedules the opportunity to attend live. I will aim to alternate morning and afternoon/evening sessions.

  • Generally no. This is not my preferred way of working and most of the things I work with clients on tend to need more time. However there are some scenarios that a one off session can work for. For example, making a big decision about career direction or nutting out values, purpose, mission vision for your business.

If you’d like to explore whether a one off session might be a fit for you, please email me at kate@leadingbeings.com.

  • I currently coach on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is subject to change, but generally with plenty of notice. In some circumstances, I can make times outside of this available. Please contact me before booking a discovery call if these days don’t work for you and you’d like to discuss other options.

  • Absolutely. If you are on a 4 or 6 month package, you can extend your package to a 6 or 12 month package. Let me know at any time during your coaching series you would like to do this and I immediately switch you over. Your next payment will be at the lower rate.

You can also switch to a shorter package. So for example, if you signed up for a 6 month package and for some reason can only do 4 months, I switch you over as soon as you let me know. However, you must pay the price difference for months already paid. So for example if you move from a 6 month to a 4 month package after two months, you pay $50+GST X 2 months (which is the difference between the cost of the two plans).

Pricing & payments

  • If you are looking to pay less per month, I can extend your payments over a longer period and reduce the rate. For example, youn could pay for a 4 month coaching pakage over 6 months. Which would reduce your monthly payment from $700+GST to roughly $467+GST.

I’m happy to work with you to find an arrangement that suits both our needs and your budget where possible.

  • I prefer monthly payments, but yes you can. Please let me know in our discovery call if this is what you’d prefer.

  • It is very important to me as a part of good coaching ethics that I would never make anyone continue coaching if they didn’t want to or couldn’t afford to. You can finish up any time, with one month’s notice. (Please note there may be a requirement to pay for any coaching already used if you are on an extended payment plan).

There is an early termination fee however, if you are on a six or twelve month coaching package due to the fact these packages are discounted. The termination fee is the equivalent of the discount you have received. Please let me know if you’d like information on how this works. This is also outlined in your contract at signup.

  • I do not offer refunds on coaching already completed.
